Personality

Personality: Ezrion is a patient being, one who can wait near infinite amounts of time for simply things, like his next meal. His patience does have it's limitations, but they are extremely hard to reach. Normally Ezrion is a calm person, easy to get along with, and somewhat talkative. However if someone gets on his bad side they regret it almost instantly, his anger is explosive and deadly.

Ezrion is sort of sadistic, he enjoys when he kills his victims, but he hates himself for enjoying it. He is not a religious person, but under extreme stress will turn to a god, or religion, without thought, asking for aid.

History

History: Born before the dawn of the Dramoir Empire, to a lineage of commoners, whose names are forgotten by all save Ezrion himself. His youth was spent tending to the small farm his family owned, raising cattle and other livestock to support themselves. As he grew rumours reached him of a war of succession. Villages, towns, hamlets and even some cities from the surrounding kingdoms had begun to rebel, forming their own fledgling nation, led by some young proud noble who felt shunned by his peers.

His promises of validity and equality made the common man flock to his pennant, this included the now teenage Ezrion, vision of glorious revolution in his mind. However a soldiers path was not for him. His talents for espionage and assassination quickly became apparent, and were nurtured above all, quickly rising him to a powerful position within this new found kingdoms military. A hidden dagger rarely sheathed.

It didn't take long for the war to end, and after a treaty was signed the Empire was founded. Secretly the newly crowned Emperor sent out his assassins into the hearts of the enemy kingdoms, sabotaging political rivals, killing potentially powerful figureheads, ruining arranged marriages that would see unity in his foes. Ezrion was rarely idle.

After a few years of this the young master assassin had an unfortunate run in with an ancient being, a hungry one out for his blood. However, this creature did not kill Ezrion, it changed him. Made him better. Made him a Vampyre. The elder took the newly changed Ezrion under his wing, and for decades trained the young man to fully unleash his potential.

Eventually the Emperor passed, and his son inherited his Empire. Like his father before him he was not satisfied with what he had, and began a long and bloody conflict with his neighbouring countries. This war of expansion would last for centuries, enduring to this very day, though no one understands how Dramoiria still stands, as its very existence is fuelled by warfare. Ezrion had long since abandoned any ties with the rulers of the Empire, instead settling into the role of mentor and master, creating the first Assassin's Guild; The Covenant of Shadows. His position as guildmaster has never been challenged.
